About NBRC

Northwest Behavioral Research Center (NBRC) is a clinical research site investigating new medications and new uses for existing medications for the treatment of a wide range of psychiatric problems. NBRC specializes only in research in the area of psychiatry and is under the medical direction of Michael Banov MD. Study visits, evaluation by a Board-Certified Psychiatrist, and investigational medicine are all provided at no cost. Some studies offer additional follow up care at no charge as well.

We are part of Northwest Behavioral Medicine (NBM) which has been delivering comprehensive mental health care to Atlanta since 1994. NBM uses an integrated approach with psychiatrists, psychologists, and masters level therapists to treat most behavioral health disorders. We are one of the largest groups in the Atlanta area and have offices in Marietta and Roswell/ Alpharetta Georgia.
