Emily Siegel is a licensed clinical social worker who works with children (3 and up), adolescents, and adults (couples, individually, or within a family framework). She utilizes a relational, psychodynamic approach to be present with her clients while integrating hope and her mindfulness training to help you build coping skills to overcome various issues, most of which include: anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, attachment and bonding (with family members, friends, or romantically), disordered eating, impulsivity, codependency, guilt/shame, addiction, and family conflict. Emily assists her clients in tapping into their insight and personal strengths. Emily has 6 + years of experience providing crisis intervention, group psychotherapy, and individual therapy to various populations. From high school students in the South Bronx, to court-mandated and intellectually disabled adults, oftentimes with complex trauma and addiction histories, at Cobb County Community Services Board, to patients at Peachford Hospital, Emily believes no issue is insurmountable.
