Pam is a Licensed Professional Counselor (L.P.C.) and a National Certified Counselor (N.C.C.). She holds a B.S. from the Ohio State University, a Master’s in Human Resource Development and a Master’s in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University.
Pam works with individuals who are committed to making constructive changes in their lives. Her counseling approach focuses on expanding the client’s self awareness in terms of strengths, stressors and resources. She is known for helping clients develop and implement new coping mechanisms and pragmatic strategies which produce positive, sustainable results. In addition to her experience in individual psychotherapy, Pam has expertise in career counseling where she has worked with individuals dealing with workplace challenges and with broader psychological issues including depression, low self-esteem, Bi-polar disorder, adult ADHD, anxiety and stress. She began her career in business where she led Operations and Human Resources teams for 20 years and developed an expertise in dealing with relationship issues in the workplace. After returning to college and completing two master’s degrees, she combined her business experience with her counseling education/training and began successfully working with individuals on a variety of personal and career issues. She has built a solid reputation with clients, business associates and fellow therapists. She is known for her collaborative style and for assisting clients in setting goals, overcoming obstacles, celebrating their strengths and realizing greater life satisfaction. Pam offers help to individuals interested in improving their personal and/or work lives.
